INL’s “Establishing a Family Justice Center in Moldova” Project

The primary goal of the Project is to define and implement a sustainable, inter-disciplinary approach to preventing and combatting SGBV, with supporting instruments and standardized holistic methodologies including through, among other things, the establishment of an FJC in Moldova. A secondary goal is to assist the Government of Moldova (GoM) with implementing its national strategy to combat domestic violence (DV), and to provide advice and technical assistance to facilitate more effective delivery of inter-agency services to SBGV victims.

FACILITATING ACCESS TO JUSTICE IN SOUTH SUDAN

Te Doy Foundation recently received a large grant from the US Department of State - Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL- http://www.state.gov/j/inl/) for a two-year project to train justice sector operators, create/support five legal aid clinics, and increase the effective use of strategic and public interest litigation on behalf of marginalized populations in this recently independent, conflict-ridden country.

TDA donates to Mringa Primary School

Through a substantial donation from our primary donor, Transnational Development Associates, Inc. (TDA) and the assistance from Norbert and Friends Missions, we donated uniforms and school lunches for a year for 30 orphans at the Mringa Primary School in Ngaramtoni, Tanzania.

Te Doy received help to improve lives of students in Nuquí

Approximately 10% of TDA’s profits go to financing the operations of the Te Doy Foundation, with a priority in the countries in which and with the beneficiary populations for whom TDA is working. The Te Doy Foundation is currently financing several educational projects, including one to improve access to education and provide assistance to orphaned students at the Mringa Primary School in Ngaramtoni, Tanzania and another to provide logistical and other assistance to economically disadvantaged Afro-Colombian students in Nuquí, Chocó, Colombia.
